RX-121-1 HAZEL CUSTOM ヘイズル改
RX-121-1 ヘイズル改は、ティターンズが試作した実験機である。
このため、型式番号RX-121の上二桁［12］はコンペイトウでの開発を、三桁目の［1］は開発番号を、そのまま意味している。TR計画において最初に開発された機体であり、TR-6開発の為のテストベッド機として、追加パーツなど各種テストを行うため拡張性に優れる。
ジムクウェルをベースに、頭部はガンダムを模した頭部ユニットを採用。ジム・クゥエルは、ティターンズ専用機として広く配備されており、メンテナンス時のパーツ互換性と信頼性が高い為採用された。同時に、既存の量産機をベースとする事で開発期間の大幅な短縮に繋がっている。
1号機（RX-121/RX-121-1）と2号機（RX-121-2）の二機が存在し、それぞれが膨大な数の装備バリエーションを有しており、換装によってあらゆる任務に対応する。
本機はパーツ換装を主観に置いた改修が行われており、脚部、肩部のアクチュエータの強化、脚部熱核ロケットエンジン、バックパックの可動式バーニア・ポッドによって装備追加に伴う重量増・機動力低下に対応した。この可動式バーニア・ポッドには、熱核ロケット/ジェットエンジンが搭載され、大気圏内外を問わず高い機動力を機体に付与している。
また、ガンダムヘッド自体もセンサー系が強化されており、頭頂部センサーは高機動形態での視界確保を目的に、上方にもセンサーが張り巡らされている。ただし、センサー増設の関係から、60mmバルカン砲はオミットされた。
主なパイロットは1号機はウェス・マーフィー、2号機はエリアルド・ハンター。
